Ken Casey

Founder and Managing Director since 1990.
With a B.Sc. in Dairy Science Ken’s route into packaging came about by his natural flair as an entrepreneur and an eye for a good business opportunity. Having worked in management with several national and international chemical manufacturers and moving on to running his own chemical manufacturing business as well as ventures into the food sector and paint manufacturing, Ken formed Pakform on the back of a contract with the Cork Milk Producers CMP, providing layer pads from a Commercial Unit off Spur Hill. With the help of several financial backers Ken was able to grow the company by investing in new premises, plant and machinery thus expanding the range of products and services the company could provide.

Eddie Hurley

Operations Manager and Director
Eddie joined Pakform in 1992 having worked in the Planning Department of Smurfit Corrugated. He brought with him the necessary skills required for the day to day running of the Company. Initially working alongside Ken on all areas of the Business, as the business expanded Eddie has taken on the responsibility of Operations Manager. Eddie oversees all areas of production and logistics as well as responsibilities for customer service and dealing with suppliers.

Mark Casey

Sales Manager and Director
Mark joined the Company in 1995 and with his natural entrepreneurial flair and savvy business sense secured new contracts with leading IT manufacturers and Soft Drinks companies. Mark also saw the need to invest in new premises and purchase new machinery. This prompted the move to Courtstown Industrial Park where the Company’s sheet plant is now permanently based. Mark is the Company Sales Manager with responsibility for new business.

Noelle O’Connor

Office Supervisor
Noelle joined Pakform in 2000. Noelle came to the Company with 12 years experience of office administration in the industrial manufacturing sector. Noelle has responsibility for Credit control, Office Administration, Payroll, ISO Internal Audits as well as reception and general secretarial work.

Ed Casey

Facility Manager
Ed started doing work for the family business back in 1997. As an Industrial Electrician/Instrument Technician he took on the installation and maintenance of the Company’s plant and machinery. As the company grew Ed took on the role of Facility Manager with responsibility for managing the facility in relation to Plant & Machinery, Transport Vehicles, IT Equipment, Network and Computerised Management Systems. Ed also holds responsibility for Financial Controls.

Ian Tyrrell

Sales Representative
Ian has been with the Company since 2009. Since that time Ian has contributed greatly to new sales and promoting the products and services which Pakform provide plus improving our Brand awareness to prospective Customers. Ian works closely with Eddie in operations and Mark in development of new business. Ian has bought new skills and expertise developed over 20 years of sales in various sectors of manufacturing.

History of Pakform
Since 1990 we`ve been manufacturing Corrugated Cardboard Boxes, Diecut Boxes and all types of Corrugated Fittings and Divisions.
Founded in 1990 by Ken Casey in a small warehouse off Spur Hill outside Cork City, the Company quickly grew and moved in 1993 to a larger premises in Midleton. With the help of his Son Mark looking after Sales and with Eddie Hurley as Operations Manager the move to a dedicated 14,000 Sq Ft Sheet Plant in Little Island followed in 1997. Since then the Company has been steadily improving the Cardboard Packaging services it provides to the Pharmaceutical/Chemical Industry, Food Sector, Engineering and IT Manufacturing.
Pakform now has a dedicated sales team which is backed up by strong financial administration and operations personnel. Many of the staff have been with the Company since the early days and it is this unique combination of family tradition, experience and expertise built up over the last 21 years that has our total focus upon Customer Service. The Company goals and objectives are to provide exactly what the Customer needs, on time and at the right price with a high emphasis on quality.
